Steve Wilson's bipolar disorder was diagnosed in the 1950's, but he'd suffered with long bouts of highs and lows beginning at 9 after he was sexually assaulted.
More than four decades later, after numerous tries with the correct dosages of medications, therapy, and even peer support, he reached an equilibrium that allowed for a successful personal and professional life.
Today, in his seventies, Steve is the new author of Teetering on a Tightrope, a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He facilitates groups for consumers of mental health services.
