Eleanor Andrews made a huge change.
A young wife in the 60's, she moved from her home in Compton, California to Fairbanks, Alaska and began life in the Last Frontier. She was one of a few Black women living there at the time. And though her husband died young, leaving her to face frigid temperatures and parenting two children alone, she opened her mind to opportunity. And those opportunities never stopped coming.
Today, Eleanor is a retired businesswoman. A philanthropist. A great-grandmother. A mentor.
